One!

The Alien is one today. I can’t believe it has been a whole year. This time last year I was e-mailing Meg telling her that she might expect a call from me later in the day.

I’ll write more about it later (hopefully tonight) but right now we are going out on the town. We are headed to Zingerman’s for lunch and to buy some special birthday cheese.

Everybody have a cup of coffee (or other libation of your choice) in honor of the birthday girl!

Steps

I saw it. She took a step. One unsupported step. Then, a few minutes later, another unsported step.

Her father said he saw it a few days ago, but I wasn’t sure I believed him. But, there it was, a step.

And so it begins.

Testing

This is the obligitory first post where I write “testing, testing.”
